What is your approach?
I capture the day as it runs naturally. Moments will never be posed or re-staged. I won’t direct or intrude. Weddings are real, they have real moments, they are part of real life and show who you are as an inbidual and as a couple. I want my couples to re-live the day, the anticipation, the emotion, the surroundings, the dancing. It’s about the two of you when you look back on your wedding day.
Can we have group shots?
Yes, I don’t put any time frame or number on this. However I do recommend keeping it to 5-7 group shots. I will ask for a list of groups shortly before your wedding day.
Do you do posed shots?
I do. I spend time with the newlyweds, getting shots away from the crowds. I understand that these may be the only moments you get together on your wedding day. I spend this time capturing you both as a couple in a relaxed way. I usually spend about 30/40 mins with couples depending on weather and location.
How and what images do we get?
All images will be presented and sent to you approximately 4-6 weeks after your wedding day on a USB. Depending on the size and timings of your wedding you will receive between 350-500 fully edited photos. A range of photos will also be in black and white.
Do you travel to weddings?
Absolutely! I will jump at the chance to travel around the UK (or the world). If your wedding is taking place more than 60 miles from Oxford there will be a 45p charge per mile. More than 60 miles may involve overnight accommodation. This is usually around £70.
Do you photograph families?
Yes, please do contact me for further details.
